$45M worth Deion Sanders gets excited over "little thing" that cost him over $57,900: "NEW TOY ALERT"
Deion Sanders is enjoying the offseason after buying a little something that has made his life easier. As his fans know, Coach Prime loves his vehicles and is always on the lookout to buy the ones that are useful, luxurious, and good-looking at the same time. He shared a series of pictures of his latest purchase on Instagram.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer and Colorado head coach has got his hands on a "new toy": a tractor. The 2022 NEW HOLLAND POWERSTAR 75 sells for $57,900, as per the official website of the company.
The caption of the post was:
"NEW TOY ALERT! @isomyoung Got a New Thang! Lololol Yes we’re Country and we still get Excited about the little things that makes life easier. I love cutting Grass ask @scagmowers they are a Blessing!"
The new tractor should help Sanders with some of his work on his property. Coach Prime will still have time to play with his "new toy" before the new college football season kicks off in a few months.
Deion Sanders received a lucrative bonus from the University of Colorado
It was reported by USA Today Sports that the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes received an unusual $250,000 discretionary bonus from the University of Colorado during his first season as the coach of the team. The bonus was not tied to any specific contract milestone or performance target, making it a sort of "gift."
Even though the team went 4-8 last year and was on a six-game losing streak at the end of the season, he got compensated handsomely for bringing the eyes of media and fans to the university. Coach Prime's first season generated $343 million in "earned media" value for the university, a major increase from the $87 million granted the previous year.
Deion Sanders' impact has not only been limited to his financial impact but also to the increase of Black applicants. The university saw a record number of applicants and a 50.5% increase in Black applicants for the fall 2024 semester.
The bonus amount exceeds many of Deion Sanders' other performance-based incentives in his contract, such as $150,000 for winning six games or $200,000 for reaching a New Year's Six bowl game.
It is often unusual for a major college football coach to receive a large bonus not tied to specific contract milestones, especially for a losing season.
