$45M worth Deion Sanders gives a big shout out to son Shilo before "The Last Call" to the NFL

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders gave a shout-out to his son, Shilo Sanders, in a recent Instagram post. In the post, Deion emphasized that when Shilo is on the gridiron, he sees him not as a partner or friend, but as his defensive enforcer.

Coach Prime wrote in the post's caption:

"My Dawg @shilosanders ! I’m not saying “My Dawg” meaning my Patna, My Homie or My Friend. Naw i ‘m his FATHER. That means He’s the 1 that gonna handle whatever needs to be handled. Shilo Sanders was a defensive lynchpin for the Colorado Buffaloes in 2024, leading the team in tackles (70). He also added four forced fumbles, three pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 11 games. Sanders aims to finish his college football career strong to enhance his draft prospects.

Shilo Sanders will enter the 2025 NFL Draft

This season will be Shilo Sanders' last with the Colorado Buffaloes, as he'll be entering the 2025 NFL Draft. Deion Sanders said as much on an April 2024 airing of the Dan Patrick Show.

The Hall of Famer said:

"Shilo and Shedeur will come out at the same time... next year (2025). By the way, they're not trying to leave Daddy this year."

Shilo Sanders has enjoyed a five-year collegiate career, including a two-year stint with South Carolina, two years with Jackson State, and most recently, a one-year spell with Colorado. He's returning for his "Last Call" with the Buffaloes in the 2024 college football season.

What can we expect from Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes in 2024?

Deion Sanders enters his second season with the Colorado Buffaloes with loads of expectations. Last year, the Buffaloes started strong but experienced a decline in their performance as the season progressed.

Therefore, Coach Prime and the team are expected to learn from their mistakes from last season and make a strong impact in 2024. The program will aim to finish the season with a winning record and potentially play in a Bowl game.
