4X NBA champ LeBron James feels the adrenaline during Georgia vs Alabama SEC blockbuster: "This game is an instant classic!!!"
LeBron James felt the excitement during the thrilling SEC showdown between Georgia and Alabama on Saturday. Alabama managed to hold on for a nail-biting 41-34 victory after Georgia staged an impressive comeback. This epic clash, featuring two teams that have collectively snagged five national titles in the last nine years, must be kept NBA legend on the edge of his seat until the final minute.
The Crimson Tide raced to a staggering 28-0 lead by the end of the first quarter, but as the clock ticked down to just over two minutes, Georgia took the lead at 34-33.
Alabama clinched the win with a crucial interception in the end zone, stopping Georgia quarterback Carson Beck from pulling off a last-minute miracle. After the game, four-time NBA champion James shared his excitement on X, tweeting:
"This game is an instant classic!!!"
The loss ended Georgia’s remarkable 42-game regular-season winning streak. However, a strong second-half performance from Georgia’s defense and Beck’s leadership had the Bulldogs (3-1) fighting back.
But ultimately, Alabama’s quarterback, Jalen Milroe, helped keep his team in the game, and Beck’s late interception sealed their fate, marking an unforgettable day in Tuscaloosa.
