5-star QB Julian Lewis names Shedeur Sanders as the highest-rated QB in EA Sports CFB 25: "I don't wanna make him mad"

Julian Lewis, a No. 1 ranked QB in the Class of 2025, will visit the Deion Sanders-led Colorado Boulder for an official visit. Despite committing to the USC Trojans in August 2023, Lewis has taken visits to Auburn and Indiana. The visit to Boulder will mark his third and final trip for this summer. But before visiting Sanders and his sons, he has decided to not make them "mad."

The Carrollton High School QB answered a series of questions about the EA Sports College Football 25 video game for 247 Sports. Lewis said that as a freshman, the EA Sports' CFB 25 game will rate him as 83. He also said that he would like to play with "Heisman Derrick Henry."

When asked who should be the highest-rated QB in EA Sports CFB 25 game, he said:

"I got to see Shedeur this weekend so, I don't wanna make him mad. I'll play Shedeur at 1."

Julian Lewis remains locked in with the USC Trojans

The USC Trojans lost two top-flight defensive line prospects in a matter of 24 hours. They also lost five-star edge rusher Isaiah Gibson and five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry. Despite losing talented players as their potential commits, Julian Lewis made it clear that he is not looking to flip his commitment as per Alabama Rivals.

After his impressive performance at the Elite 11 event, he was asked about his commitment status to Lincoln Riley-led Trojans.

"Everything is still the same," he said, as reported by Alabama Rivals. "I've been committed for a long time, and I don't plan on changing it right now."
"I just want to be in a place where I enjoy being around people there," Julian Lewis continued "I'm going to be pretty young moving into college, so I just want to be comfortable with my surroundings. ... Auburn has a team. At Colorado, Shedeur (Sanders) is leaving, so that means it's looking pretty good in that quarterback room. But, I'm still with USC."

Lewis' public visits did raise some eyebrows in the CFB fandom, but given his thoughts about his commitment status, it seems the QB is sure about his decision.
