Travis Hunter’s Electrifying Celebrations Become a Fan Favorite in Colorado’s Winning Streak
The Colorado Buffaloes celebrated a big 41-27 win over Texas Tech on Saturday, with two-way star Travis Hunter once again delivering an outstanding performance. Hunter recorded nine receptions for 99 yards and a touchdown. His highlight moment came with a 24-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Shedeur Sanders, putting Colorado up 31-20 with just 1:18 left in the third quarter.
Hunter then thrilled fans with another Kai Cenat-inspired celebration dance.
Back in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bearcats on Oct. 26, where the Buffs claimed a 34-23 victory, Travis Hunter had an equally stellar game with nine receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns. After his first-quarter touchdown, which also opened the scoring, he celebrated with a “spiderman celly” move.
Standing in the end zone, Hunter performed a backflip and struck a Spiderman pose, which has become one of his most memorable celebrations to date.
In nine games this season, Travis Hunter has racked up 69 receptions for 856 yards and nine touchdowns, ranking him 11th in receiving yards and sixth in catches. On defense, he has also made 21 tackles, intercepted two passes, and has seven passes defended.
Last week, Hunter’s moves stole the show, and with his knack for finding the end zone this season, fans can likely expect to see him dancing with teammates yet again, showcasing his latest moves.
