Alabama OT Tyler Booker dazzles in diamond jewelry as Crimson Tide team takes the stage at 2024 SEC Media Days
Tyler Booker stole the spotlight at the 2024 SEC Media Days on Wednesday in Dallas, Texas, not just with his words but his dazzling style. Joining Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer and teammates Jalen Milroe and Malachi Moore, Booker arrived in a sharp blue suit complemented by eye-catching gold jewelry, comprising of a necklace and a watch.
The offensive tackle from New Haven, Connecticut, is a former four-star recruit poised to start at left guard this season. Booker is excited for the upcoming season. Reflecting on the team’s offensive struggles last year, he told the media:
“We dominated in the run game, but our pass protection needed work. With new additions to the offensive line, we’re focusing on improving those skills.”
Despite the challenges, the OT has confidence that Alabama’s ethos remains unshaken:
“Our mindset is to dominate every play and make opponents quit. That’s the Alabama way, and it’s never going to change.”
As the Crimson Tide gear up for the season, all eyes will be on how Booker and his teammates execute under DeBoer’s leadership.

Tyler Booker hints Alabama's shift from defensive mindset to offensive
The Alabama offensive tackle is pumped for a new era under coach Kalen DeBoer. The 6-foot-5, 352-pound offensive guard is eager to see the Crimson Tide offense shine with DeBoer’s expertise
"Whatever we want to do, it’s really our team," Booker said. "Obviously, he’s the coach and he calls the plays but if we feel comfortable with a certain play call or certain formation, he’s going to cater the offense towards that."
Booker hinted at a shift from Alabama's traditionally defensive mindset after Nick Saban’s retirement and the arrival of Kalen DeBoer.
"Playing for Coach Saban over the last couple of years, practices have been skewed a little toward the defense" Booker said. "Now that we have an offensive-minded head coach, maybe the tides will turn this fall. We will see."
Despite the scrutiny about Alabama’s chances without Saban, Booker isn’t fazed. He’s determined to focus on his game to help the team in the long run and prove doubters wrong.
Alabama’s 2024 season kicks off on Aug. 31 against Western Kentucky in Tuscaloosa, and fans are desperate to see the Crimson Tide’s new look under DeBoer.
