Arizona vs. UCF Injury Report Week 10: Updates on Jacob Manu, Kobe Hudson, and more

The Arizona Wildcats (3-5) and the UCF Knights (3-5) are set to meet at the FBC Mortgage Stadium for Week 10 action on Saturday, with both teams desperate for a win to snap their losing streaks. However, the injury reports are not looking favorable for either team, as both are dealing with injuries to their key players.

With both teams needing to end the season strong to become bowl-eligible, this game carries significant weight. Let's take a deeper dive into each team's injury reports and see who is not 100 percent healthy right now.

Arizona Wildcats Injury Report Week 10

The Arizona Wildcats are primarily facing injuries on the defensive side of the ball.

Jacob Manu, LB

Junior linebacker Jacob Manu will not be on the field as he suffered a season-ending non-contact leg injury, according to coach Brent Brennan. Manu was one of the team's leading tacklers, recording 47 total tackles (19 solo, 28 assisted), a forced fumble and two pass deflections. He also was the top tackler in the Pac-12 last year.

Gunner Maldonado, DB

Senior defensive back Gunner Maldonado is not expected to return this season due to a knee injury and has yet to undergo surgery. The extent of the knee injury is not known, but it sounds like he will not be suiting up for the remainder of the Wildcats' season. He suffered the injury on Oct. 5 against the Texas Tech Red Raiders and has been sidelined ever since.

UCF Knights Injury Report Week 10

The UCF Knights are not as banged up as the Arizona Wildcats, but they are still dealing with some key players not at 100 percent.

Kobe Hudson, WR

Senior wide receiver Kobe Hudson is dealing with an apparent leg injury but is expected to play in this Week 10 game. Hudson has been performing well this season, recording 27 catches for 509 yards (18.9 yards per reception) and three touchdowns.

Colton Boomer, K

Junior kicker Colton Boomer is dealing with an undisclosed injury and is officially listed as questionable for this matchup against the Arizona Wildcats. He has struggled this season with field goals as he has knocked down 3-of-6 (50.0%) but also has made 19-of-20 (95.0%) of his extra points. Boomer has not seen the field since the Colorado Buffaloes game back on Sept. 28.
