Arkansas Razorbacks' 2025 NFL Draft expert-led preview: Insider notes on Andrew Armstrong, Landon Jackson, Cameron Ball and more
Despite a losing campaign in 2023, which was a year removed from the late-season collapse of 2022, Arkansas brought back head coach Sam Pittman. As a result, several talented players left via the transfer portal, yet the Razorbacks still have a potential top-45 pick on the roster.
Arkansas Razorbacks' 2025 NFL Draft Preview
#1 Landon Jackson
Landon Jackson seriously considered entering last April’s draft, and to many, it was a foregone conclusion he would make himself available for the event. Yet when all was said and done, Jackson chose to return for another season with the Razorbacks.
He has an NFL body at 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds with plenty of growth potential. Jackson lacks elite speed, but he’s fast enough for a natural defensive end and plays strong football. He’s technically sound, and a great season could push him into the late part of Round 1.
#2 Cameron Ball
Cameron Ball is a developing junior who displayed flashes of dominance last season. He’s a big and explosive interior tackle who overruns blockers to penetrate the line of scrimmage and disrupt the action. Ball has tremendous upside.
#3 Eric Gregory
Scouts really like Eric Gregory, an athletic big man who moves incredibly well around the field. Gregory is quick and plays more like a three-technique/one-gap tackle than a 318-pound lineman.
After showing a lot of promise in his first two seasons at Arkansas, his production dropped off last season and he disappeared for long stretches. He has a lot of ability, but he must apply it every snap.
#4 Andrew Armstrong
I like receiver Andrew Armstrong much more than scouts who grade him as a PFA. Armstrong has excellent length at 6-foot-4, long arms, and super-dependable hands. He’s not a burner; rather, he’s a reliable underneath/possession wideout.
