Ashton Jeanty's GF hypes up Bosie state star as he ties score with Travis Hunter with latest achievement
Boise State Broncos' Ashton Jeanty has been the 2024 college football season story. He has been going head-to-head with Colorado Buffaloes two-way phenom Travis Hunter since week 1 of the season. Now, as it ends, they are the two names standing as the favorites for the coveted Heisman trophy.
Jeanty’s girlfriend recently hyped him up on Instagram, celebrating his season. Her post highlighted the latest milestone for the Broncos’ standout, who’s also the Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Award finalist. Have a look:
Jeanty has been exceptional this season. He leads the league in rushing yards (2,062) and outpaces the competition—even after contact.
Fams argue his record-breaking production deserves Heisman glory over Hunter, Cam Ward, and Dillon Gabriel. Hunter currently leads the Heisman rankings, even after the Buffs defeated the Kansas Jayhawks in week 13. He also is a finalist for the Maxwell award alongside Jeanty.
Still, the Colorado cornerback/wide receiver, who shines on both sides of the ball, is a fan favorite. Yet, Jeanty’s numbers can’t be ignored, with his Broncos ranked No. 12 nationally.

Former NFL athlete says he will not watch college football if Ashton Jeanty doesn't win Heisman
Le’Veon Bell, former Pittsburgh Steelers running back, is furious about the ongoing Heisman Trophy race. Throwing his full support behind Jeanty, he called out the Heisman process for being a “popularity contest.” Bell’s frustration spilled onto X, where he declared:
“If ashton jeanty doesn’t win heisman, I won’t watch another college football game .. he’s the most electrifying player in all of college football … may not be the most “POPULAR,” but is heisman a popularity contest? this kids stats are unreal, and he’s the BEST at his position.”
Bell isn’t alone. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons also has similar sentiments. He insists that Jeanty should already have the Heisman locked up.
With 2,062 rushing yards, 27 touchdowns, and a receiving TD—Jeanty’s dominance has given way to comparisons with Barry Sanders and Ricky Williams.
Nonetheless, popularity aside, Colorado’s Hunter is a worthy competition. However, Hunter's Heisman hopes may have dimmed with the Buffaloes falling to Kansas in Week 13. Meanwhile, Jeanty’s Broncos are closing in on a College Football Playoff berth.
