Big 12 Week 11 Bowl Projections: Deion Sanders' Colorado scripts history while BYU stands on top
The 2024 college football season is entering the final stretch as the calendar turns to Week 11, and the Big 12 has been strong all year long. The conference's 16 teams have gone 79-57 over the first ten weeks of the season, including an impressive 33-11 mark in non-conference games.
The Big 12 has four teams ranked in the latest rendition of the AP Top 25 poll, with two additional programs receiving votes. This means that six of the conference's 16 teams have been recognized by voters.
Six teams have already reached six wins. While no team has mathematically been eliminated, there are three programs that will need to win out to reach that mark. ESPN gives three additional teams a 75% chance or better of winning at least six games to be deemed bowl eligible.
Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes scripted history by securing a 34-23 win over Cincinnati Bearcats on Oct. 26 to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2016.
Take a look at a prediction of the Big 12's postseason picture below.
