"Bossy ain't no good": Coach Prime hilariously roasts daughter Shelomi Sanders as she asks for her birthday present
Coach Prime taught his daughter Shelomi Sanders some important life lessons when she attended Colorado's indoor practice session on Sunday. Deion Sanders also suggested that Shelomi had asked him for a Christmas gift along with a birthday gift before showing some of her bossy nature toward him.
In an Instagram video that Sanders posted on Monday, he was having a conversation with Shelomi, while getting his hair styled.
"Bossy ain’t No Good ! But she want a Birthday & a Christmas present! @shelomisanders ! What y’all think ? @theepregameshow @bstgk," Sanders wrote in his IG caption.
In the video clip, Shelomi asks Deion about his toe after hearing a rumor of the Colorado coach considering another foot surgery. When Deion denied he spoke about another surgery, Shelomi joked about the amputated toes on his left foot.
Deion then said that Shelomi got everything she wanted as a child because of his feet, referring to his NFL playing days. The CU coach also joked that he wanted Shelomi to get some Vaseline and rub it on his feet right now to show her appreciation.
Deion had two of his left toes amputated in 2021. He needed to undergo the medical procedure due to blood clots as a result of circulation issues.
Deion played 14 seasons in the NFL as a cornerback and a return specialist. He won two Super Bowls and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
Coach Prime's daughter Shelomi Sanders plays college basketball at Alabama A&M
Shelomi Sanders plays college basketball for the Alabama A&M Bulldogs. She transferred to the program earlier this year after spending one year at Colorado. She began her college career at Jackson State in 2022.
Since Shelomi's brothers Shilo and Shedeur Sanders had their final Colorado practice session together on Sunday, she joined the CU indoor training facility to support her family.
Coach Prime's Colorado will square off against Big 12 rival BYU in the Alamo Bowl on Saturday.
