Buffs star Travis Hunter to give away PlayStation 5 and copies of EA Sports' CFB 25 game at launch party
Colorado Buffaloes two-way star Travis Hunter announced on Instagram that he has organized a launch party for the upcoming EA Sports' College Football 25 game. The video game's cover star also announced that there will be some of the latest merchandise available for purchase.
If that was not enough, he also promised that he would give away a PlayStation 5 and five copies of the new game.
"Be there. I’m also giving away a PS5 & 5 copies of the new EA Sports game," wrote in the caption of the post.
The launch party is set to take place at Town Center in Westminster, Colorado on Saturday, July 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Deion Sanders expresses his disappointment with Travis Hunter's ratings in EA Sports CFB 25 game
EA Sports recently announced the ratings of all the players in College Football 25 ahead of its release on July 19. Although no player could touch the 99 mark, Michigan CB Will Johnson leads the way with a 96 overall rating. Meanwhile, cover star Travis Hunter was ranked No. 6 with a 95 overall rating.
Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders was left confused as to why Hunter was not the top-ranked player in the game:
“How can Travis not have the highest score on the game when he’s arguably the best receiver and the best defensive back in college football. So, how can you not be the number one rated guy, period? I don’t understand that either," Sanders said.
Hunter is a two-way athlete who knows how to handle the ball on both sides. Even though he was limited to only nine games in his first year at Colorado, Hunter earned consensus All-American honors.
Additionally, his versatility helped him win the Paul Hornung Award. He caught 57 catches for 721 yards and five touchdowns on offense last season. On defense, while playing cornerback, he added 30 tackles with three interceptions.
