CFB Insider reveals the only 2 draftable prospects from Georgia Tech for the 2025 NFL Draft

The Yellow Jackets have had a tough go of it recently. Last season marked the first time in five years they ended with a winning mark, barely doing so with a 7-6 record. Except for two players, it has been all late-round picks coming out of Georgia Tech the past decade, and that won’t change any time soon.

Georgia Tech NFL Draft 2025 Preview

#1 Jamal Haynes

Just two players on my Georgia Tech board grade as draftable right now, starting with junior running back Jamal Haynes.

A small but super-quick back with a terrific burst, Haynes is creative and makes defenders miss while showing a lot of open-field running ability. He also displays himself as a solid pass catcher out of the backfield and nicely projects as a third-down back for the next level.

#3 Jackson Hawes

Yale transfer Jackson Hawes is an interesting prospect and one to keep an eye on. From a size/speed perspective, Hawes has middle-round numbers, coming in at 6-foot-4, 260 pounds and timing the 40 in 4.7 seconds.

Yet he’s more of an athlete than a football player, as Hawes has a combined 35 receptions the past three seasons in the Ivy League. If he develops his game, Hawes could be a surprise at the tight end position.

#3 Andre Biggers

Defensive tackle Andre Biggers is anything but small, measuring 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds. He’s a massive space-eater in the middle of the field who collects double-team blocks, occupies opponents, and allows teammates to make plays on the ball.

He’s an average athlete with limited playmaking ability but has the size and temperament to line up at nose tackle.

Offensive linemen Jordan Williams and Weston Franklin, as well as quarterback Haynes King, could jump into the late rounds with good campaigns.
