Coach Prime drops heartwarming message for people of Florida amid Hurricane Milton landfall
Coach Prime had a message and prayed for citizens of Florida during Hurricane Milton's landfall. Deion Sanders took to Instagram and shared a story as the storm brought on siginificant damage, and continues to disrupt more lives, leaving over 3 million Floridians without power.
“Florida, I am praying for you.”
Hurricane Milton, a Category 3 natural disaster, has battered Florida’s west coast with dangerous winds and life-threatening storm surges. Video footage from the International Space Station revealed the massive size of Milton, as the hurricane’s spiral clouds cast an eerie shadow over the Gulf of Mexico.
Sanders' connection to the Sunshine State runs deep. The Pro Football Hall of Famer started his legendary football career at Florida State University. In his senior year with the Seminoles, Sanders won the Jim Thorpe Award.
FSU laid the base for the multi-sport athlete. After leaving Florida, Deion was scooped up by the Atlanta Falcons as the fifth overall pick in 1989.
As Hurricane Milton continues its path of destruction, Coach Prime's message is a beacon of hope and solidarity for the people of Florida.

Coach Prime not letting guard down ahead of week 7 game against Kansas State
The Colorado Buffaloes have a golden chance of avenging their 4-8 season last year. They just have to do one thing—keep winning, and Coach Prime knows that. The Buffs are currently 4-1 in the 2024 college football season and have a Week 7 clash against No. 18 Kansas State Wildcats over the weekend at Folsom Field.
The Colorado coach, coming off a much-needed open week after close matchups in week 4 and 5 against the Baylor Bears and the UCF Knights, delivered a clear message to his team:
"Y'all think y'all arrived, right? Nah, we supposed to be here. Quit acting like it's a surprise… I expect an era of seriousness when we practice today."
On the other hand, Kansas State coach Chris Klieman acknowledged the challenge of facing Colorado. He’s wary of Coach Prime's offense with QB Shedeur Sanders at the helm. Klieman praised Shedeur, calling him an “excellent thrower” and predicting he'll be the first quarterback off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Buffs will need to be sharp in all phases, and Kansas State’s defense is ready to take the heat.
