Coach Prime refuses to rest on his laurels as he sends clear message to Colorado players before Cincinnati clash
Coach Prime isn't slowing down, sending a clear message to his Colorado Buffaloes before their Saturday showdown against the Cincinnati Bearcats at Folsom Field, Boulder.
After a big win against Arizona, improving to 5-2, Deion Sanders shared his mindset with the team, wanting his team focused and driven for their next challenge.
“Guys let's work today,” Sanders said. “Let's challenge each other to have a commitment to excellence let's work today and challenge each other.”
The Buffs are back home to face a Cincinnati team that matches their record. ESPN favors Colorado for the win. Last season, the teams didn’t meet, but in their last three matchups, Cincinnati holds the edge, winning two of three and covering the spread each time.
Prime Time is expected to speak at the university on Tuesday before the game. The countdown to another conference battle is on.

Deion Sanders’ Colorado set for a Big 12 clash against the Cincinnati Bearcats
Both teams come into this matchup riding high on wins. Colorado dominated the Arizona Wildcats 34-7, while Cincinnati secured a 24-14 victory over Arizona State.
Under Deion Sanders, the Buffaloes are proving to be a consistent force in a competitive Big 12, and Scott Satterfield’s Bearcats are right there with them. After a tough first season for both coaches, their teams are 5-2 and one win away from bowl eligibility in year two.
Cincinnati has gone 4-2-1 against the spread this season, while Colorado, coming off a strong win, is 5-2 ATS. Saturday's game will be only the second time these teams have met, with Colorado defeating UC 56-14 at Boulder in 1972, when they were ranked No. 2.
This weekend’s game promises to be a hard-fought battle between two rising programs, both teams eager to prove they belong at the top.
