Deion Sanders is as happy as ex-wife Carolyne Chambers
It is common knowledge for Deion Sanders' followers that it took him time to digest the idea of being a granddad. While mother Carolyne Chambers was as happy as possible, the Colorado HC hesitated to embrace his new role.
However, after baby Que entered into their lives, Coach Prime is filling his grandfather's shoes perfectly.
“Being a first-time grandfather is wonderful,” shared Sanders in his interview with the PEOPLE.
In an IG post, Prime reaffirmed that he is happy for Deiondra and has accepted his role as a grandfather after being in chaos for some time.
“Okay, I’ve Accepted it! I am LIL BABY’S GRANDFATHER. Lawd That felt strange & I felt GREY(Er) than ever. I AM LIL BABY’S GRANDAD!... Deiondra just said, I AM! & to see @deiondrasanders Mothering a CHILD is awesome.
Baby Que and Grandfather Sanders’ hard work has brought some luck to the Colorado Buffaloes this year. Six weeks into the season, the Buffs are already 4-1, with a 2-0 record in the Big 12. They will next meet the No. 18 Kansas State Wildcats (4-1, 1-1) on October 13 at Folsom Field.
