Coach Prime's ex-wife Pilar Sanders drops 3-word message as son Shedeur sets priorities straight ahead of Utah clash
The Colorado Buffaloes will take on the Utah Utes this weekend and starting quarterback Shedeur Sanders will look to help his team extend its three-game winning streak.
Ahead of the clash, the Buffaloes social media team uploaded a hype video of Sanders discussing his priorities.
"Now it's time for me to walk my own path, walk my own journey. And that's what you see game in and game out. Every game is legendary."
The hype video drew a three-word reaction from his mother, Pilar Sanders, who commented:
"Yes, it is."
The word "Legendary" is often associated with Shedeur Sanders, given his podcast is also named "2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders." It is similar to how his father, Deion Sanders, used "Prime." Deion Jr., Shedeur and Shilo, are big names on social media.
Shawn Baker gives props to Pilar Sanders for being a supportive mother to Shedeur Sanders
Rarely has there been a game in Folsom Field this season that hasn't been attended by Shedeur's mom, Pilar Sanders.
After a 41-27 win over the Texas Tech Raiders last week, where Shedeur Sanders passed for 291 yards and three touchdowns and posted one rushing touchdown, he was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week. Taking to her Instagram, the proud mother wrote:
"What a great guy! Truly LEGENDARY! 🤣 Colorado winning vs Texas Tech! Let the band play 🎶"
In the comments section, musician Shawn Baker highlighted Pilar Sanders' role while hailing Shedeur's performance.
"Well deserved! Shedeur is not only Talented, but he’s a darn good guy too! His parents raised him well! Pilar is a great Mom and her love for her kids doesn’t get the attention she deserves, because she’s there for them as much as Deion is! Pilar- just know we love you too and we all know that you’ve done an amazing job with your kids as well as Deion too! Keep being you Pillar! Congrats Shedeur!" Baker wrote.
Deion Sanders and Pilar were married from 1999 to 2015 and share three children, Shedeur, Shilo and Shelomi. Shedeur plays quarterback and Shilo plays safety for the Colorado football program. Shelomi transferred from Colorado to play for the Alabama A&M women's basketball program.
