Coach Prime's ex-wife Pilar Sanders posts a clear question after son Shedeur Sanders takes a brutal hit against Kansas

In the Colorado Buffaloes’ tough 37-21 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks, one moment stood out. Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders suffered a hard hit after releasing a pass.

Jayhawks linebacker Dean Miller struck Sanders directly on the knee, causing the QB to be flipped in mid-air. The hit left Shedeur shaken on the turf, but despite the pain, he managed to stay in the game.

As the video of the hit started circulating on social media, Shedeur's mom, Pilar Sanders, took to Instagram to express her frustration. When CBS Sports posted the clip of the hit, Pilar questioned:

While Pilar’s post gained attention, Coach Prime remained calm and unfazed by the hit on his son. When asked about the incident in the postgame conference, Deion Sanders praised Shedeur’s toughness and resilience.

Coach Prime said:

“He’s good. Shedeur been hit his whole life, man. He’s tough, one of the toughest young football players I’ve ever seen.”

Shedeur has been one of the most sacked quarterbacks in college football. In his first season with the Buffaloes, he was sacked 52 times in 11 games.

This season, he has been sacked 31 times so far. While Shedeur was sacked eight times against Baylor and six times against Kansas State earlier this season, he was only sacked once in Saturday’s game.

Colorado struggled all game, especially with its defense unable to stop Kansas, who dominated the time of possession.

The Buffaloes’ playoff hopes are hanging in the balance with a crucial matchup against Oklahoma State coming up.
