Coach Prime's mom Connie flexes his eye-catching record after Colorado breezes past Texas Tech in Week 11 clash

Deion Sanders has had quite the success with the Colorado Buffaloes this season. He transferred from Jackson State with his sons and two-way star Travis Hunter last year, looking to make a name in the FBS scene after triumphing in HBCU.

However, Coach Prime's debut with the Buffs did not go as planned. Even after a full roster overhaul, they could only muster a 4-8 campaign. This offseason, Sanders once again made massive changes to his roster and coaching staff in pursuit of success. And the gamble paid off for him.

His mother Connie is proud of what the Colorado head coach has achieved so far. She shared an Instagram post that showcased how far Coach Prime has come in his second campaign with the Buffs after last season's disappointment.

The Colorado Buffaloes qualified for the bowl games this season after their 34-23 victory over Cincinnati. The team continued the winning momentum by defeating Texas Tech in Week 11, coming a step closer to this season's 12-team playoffs.

The Buffs are currently second in the Big 12 standings behind the undefeated BYU Cougars. If they can win the remaining three games of the regular season, Deion Sanders and his team could compete for the Big 12 championship and receive an automatic bid to the playoffs if they emerge triumphant in this contest.

Coach Prime's mom and Colorado superfan Miss Peggy share heartwarming moment

Before Colorado took on Texas Tech in Week 11, Connie Sanders got the opportunity to spend some time with superfan Peggy Coppom.

In a photo shared on social media, the 99-year-old superfan gets together with Deion Sanders' mother for lunch. Peggy seems to be whispering something to Connie in the photo while rocking some Colorado merchandise.

The Buffs gave Peggy and Connie a splendid gift after defeating Texas Tech 41-27 at Jones AT&T Stadium. Connie's grandson, QB Shedeur Sanders, had a fantastic game, recording 291 passing yards and three TD passes along with one rushing touchdown for the team.

The Buffs are next scheduled to take on the Utah Utes at home. It will be interesting to see if Coach Prime can help the team keep up this winning momentum and exceed all expectations this season.
