College Football 25 Patch Update: Latest errors, bug fixes and improvements to the game
College Football 25 has released another patch update to fix some bugs and minor improvements. The EA Sports-developed title is constantly adding new patches to make gameplay and game modes as good as they can be.
On Thursday, the video game had another patch update, and here is everything that was fixed.
College Football 25 Patch Update: September 19
Gameplay
In gameplay, the first part of the update allows users the ability to Save Custom Audibles across all modes.
The game also tuned Wear and Tear to slow down the accrual rate. The developers also fixed a major issue, which was a kickoff exploit where players could cause the ball to not be caught by the receiving team.
College Football 25 also added new defensive plays for Nickel 3-3 Over and Nickel Over, which are:
- Edge Blitz 0
- Edge Blitz 3
- FS Will Blitz 0
The game also added Added Cover 3 Buzz Mable in Nickel 3-3 Over, Nickel Over and Nickel 3-3 Odd.
Added Cover 4 Field Drop to Nickel 3-3 Over and Nickel Over. Added Nickel 3-3 Cub to 3-4 Multiple and 4-3 Multiple playbooks. Finally, the game added Nickel 3-3 Mint to the 3-3-5 playbook.
Dynasty
In dynasty mode, the patch fixed a common issue where selecting auto schedule would not fix the schedule.
The game also increased the penalty for choosing pitches that the recruit is not interested in when hard or soft selling. As well as fixing an issue with the ACC schedule rotation in 2025 and 2026.
Finally, the developers also updated the name of Liberty’s stadium to Williams Stadium and updated the name of FIU’s stadium to Pitbull Stadium.
College Ultimate Team
College Ultimate Team also had a few issues that have been patched. One update swapped the following school's playbooks:
- Texas & Texas A&M
- Utah & Utah State
The other patch updates for College Ultimate Team, according to EA's release, were as follows:
- Fixed an issue where some Team Chems were not being highlighted even though the user owned enough qualifying players when generating teams with recommended chems.
- Fixed an issue where sets were missing pack art after being redeemed.
- Fixed stability issues around Practice Mode.
- Fixed stability issues with Challenges.
- Fixed text alignment issues.
College Football 25 was released on July 19.
