Colorado Big 12 media days: Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter and 2 others to represent Buffs at Las Vegas
The Big 12 Media Days are scheduled to take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday, July 9, and Wednesday, July 10. With the Colorado Buffaloes being one of the newest members of the Big 12 Conference, there is going to be some excitement to see what they look like.
According to Adam Musterteiger of Buff Stampede, the Colorado Buffaloes players representing the program at 2024 Big 12 Media Days will include two-way star Travis Hunter, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, safety Shilo Sanders, and punter Mark Vassett.
While some people are not surprised to see players like the Sanders brothers and Travis Hunter attending, others are excited to see how the team will bounce back from a challenging first season in Boulder.
What are some of the pressing issues that the Colorado Buffaloes will face during Big 12 Media Days?
Despite a disappointing end to Coach Prime's first year, the team is ready to lick their wounds and get back into a winning position. The Colorado Buffaloes are now entering the Big 12 Conference, and they will face new opponents and challenges ahead.
A significant issue for the Buffaloes was the large number of players entering the transfer portal Therefore, one of the bigger questions Buffs will face at Big 12 Media Days will be about cornerback Cormani McClain, a five-star prospect who joined the program ahead of Deion Sanders' first year with the program. However, he entered the NCAA Transfer Portal and went to the Florida Gators.
Meanwhile, some questions can be focused on Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, who are possibly playing their final season of college football together as they become eligible for the 2025 NFL draft. This has led to some hype as to how their last season together in college football will unfold.
Another major question that will be asked is how significant of an improvement the offense will have with a focus on offensive linemen as well as a new offensive coordinator taking the reigns.
