Colorado vs. Kansas State: Box score, stats and game summary ft. Shedeur Sanders

No. 18 Kansas State held off a determined effort by Colorado to post a 31-28 win on Saturday. Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders passed for 388 yards, but K-State moved to 5-1 with the win, while Colorado fell to 4-2. This game leaves each of these teams with a single conference loss, meaning both are still competitive in the Big 12 race.

Colorado's big-play offense, with Shedeur Sanders passing to Travis Hunter, has been as advertised. Dual-threat QB Avery Johnson has had consistency issues but remains a dangerous threat for Big 12 defenses.

The Wildcats were a 3.5-point favorite, even playing on the road. With their win, they are likely to climb a few spots in the polls and could be honing in on a possible College Football Playoff berth.
