"Congratulations on the win": When Coach Prime's ex-wife Pilar Sanders expressed love to Shelomi after her first start with Colorado Buffaloes

Coach Prime's ex-wife Pilar Sanders doesn't shy away from supporting her children on social media. She once expressed her love for her youngest, Shelomi, when she made her first appearance for the Colorado Buffaloes women's basketball team on Dec. 2, 2023.

Shelomi made her debut for CU in the Buffs' 74-58 win over Air Force. She even scored a 3-pointer which Pilar recorded courtside and later posted on Instagram.

"My baby @shelomisanders ‘ first time playing as a @cubuffswbb and she scores! Her step back 3pt and follow thru tho! 😍😍😍😍😍 GO SHELOMI GO! Shelomi is the youngest child of Deion and Pilar Sanders. She has two elder brothers, Shilo and Shedeur, who are on the Colorado football team.

Shilo and Shedeur are both expected to play their final game for the Buffs in the Alamo Bowl against BYU. They are then tipped to declare for the 2025 NFL draft.

Deion and Pilar Sanders were married for 16 years from 1999 to 2015. They have avoided each other since their divorce, but have been actively involved in their children's lives and careers.

Deion also has two kids, Deionda and Deion Jr., with his first ex-wife Carolyne Chambers.

Shelomi Sanders currently plays for the Alamaba A&M Bulldogs, after having transferred to the program earlier this year. Across 11 games this season, she is averaging 1.3 points, 0.4 assists and 0.3 rebounds.

Shelomi began her collegiate career at Jackson State in 2022. She then transferred to Colorado and played one season with the Buffs before joining the Bulldogs.

Although Shelomi is getting more minutes on the court at Alamaba A&M, she will aim to improve her numbers as the season progresses. The Bulldogs are currently leading the Southwestern Athletic and Shelomi could play an important role for the team that is eyeing a playoff spot this season.
