Deion Sanders cleats: College Football 25 features Coach Prime's signature Nike Air DT Max 96 in latest edition

Deion Sanders' Nike Air DT Max 96 has made quite an impression on football fans since returning to markets this year. Even EA Sports featured the cleats in the latest edition of College Football 25.

Sanders took to Instagram to share his signature Nike cleats that were worn by his Colorado players in the game.

"In the game @nike #CoachPrime," Sanders captioned the post.

As per reports, Sanders initially began his collaboration with Nike in 1992, when he was playing in the NFL. However, the two split in 2017, and Sanders even took a pop at the sports apparel brand, saying that he would never work with Nike again.

Nonetheless, Sanders reunited with Nike in July 2023 after ending his partnership with Under Armour. The Nike Air DT Max 96 cleats appear to have become a fan-favorite, with EA also using the shoes in the latest edition of College Football 25.

Although Deion Sanders is proud to have his Nike Air DT Max 96 cleats feature in College Football 25, he isn't too happy with EA's ratings of his Colorado players. During the Big 12 Media Days last week, Sanders said:

“I’m just trying to figure out how can Shedeur be tied with another person. How did that happen?
"And how can Travis not have the highest score on the game when he’s arguably the best receiver and the best defensive back in college football? So, how can you not be the number one rated guy, period? I don’t understand that either."

Sanders' Colorado is one of the four teams, along with Arizona, Arizona State and Utah, to leave the Pac-12 and join the Big 12 this year.

In his first season with the Buffaloes in 2023, Sanders led Colorado to an underwhelming 4-8 record after a strong start. Coach Prime will want to lead Colorado to a winning season in 2024 as the program returns to the Big 12.
