Deion Sanders Jr. shares the exact moment when he knew Shedeur Sanders and Co. were going to beat Texas Tech
Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders was named the Big 12's Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Week 11. He threw 291 passing yards resulting in three touchdowns while adding a rushing touchdown.
The Buffs were hyped for the road game in Lubbock and a clip posted by Deion Sanders Jr. on TikTok showed the energy that they took into the game with players singing in the tunnel. Colorado ultimately won the game decisively 41-27.
Deion Sanders Jr. captioned the clip:
"When I saw this...I knew Colorado was going to win."

Shedeur Sanders highlights Buffs' quality in Texas Tech win
Last season whenever the Colorado Buffaloes fell behind in games, they rarely made comebacks and more often than not went on to lose heavily. This season, that trend has changed with thrilling wins rescued from the jaws of defeat like Shedeur Sanders tossing a Hail Mary pass against the Baylor Bears in Week 4 of college football action to seal a 38-31 comeback win.
Against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, the Buffs were in a 13-0 hole in the first quarter before Shedeur and the Heisman-contending Travis Hunter went to work sealing the 41-27 win.
In his postgame news conference, the Buffs quarterback revealed the difference in how the team approaches adversity this season differently from last season.
"We thrive on that (adversity)," Sanders said. "We've always been in adverse situation. Everywhere we go. Some of the typing and the pens and the paperwork puts us in an adverse situation.
"It's not one time that I'm not getting a reminder on my phone that someone is putting us in adversity. These young men, they were bread for this man. I'm proud of them, I really am, for what they're doing."
The atmosphere inside Jones AT&T Stadium was hostile from the beginning and Red Raiders fans threw tortillas on the pitch even drawing the ire of their coach Joey McGuire who yelled at them to stop via the public address system.
Shedeur Sanders leaned into the atmosphere even signing a fan's tortilla chip and performing with the Texas Tech band after the game. He revealed why he interacted with the fans so jovially despite the hostile atmosphere.
"They excited to see us in person," Shedeur said. "I think this is the last year me, Travis (Hunter), Shilo (Sanders) and a lot of players are able to be traveling around and interact with a lot of these college kids or young kids in general."
The Colorado Buffaloes led by quarterback Shedeur Sanders seem to be a team reborn dealing with difficult atmospheres and deficits in a more mature manner than they did last year as they attempt to reach the Big 12 championship game.
