Deion Sanders puts in the hard work to become "Bowl Fine" ahead of Shedeur & Travis Hunter's final game for Colorado
Deion Sanders is ready to lead the No. 23 Colorado Buffaloes (9-3, 6-2, Big 12) in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28. The game will be the last one for Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter in Colorado colors before they take their talent to the NFL next year.
With bowl games still left, Coach Prime ensured he's ready for it physically and mentally. The 57-year-old sweat it out in the gym and posted it on X with the caption:
"I’m getting CHRISTMAS FINE! BOWL FINE! & BLESSING FINE!"
The Buffs have been a revelation in college football this year. From a 4-8 year in 2023 to securing bowl eligibility for the first time since 2016 with a 9-3 record, Deion Sanders has been working.
Deion Sanders' prospects to join hands with Tom Brady
Could Deion Sanders make the leap to the NFL and join forces with Tom Brady? ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler hinted that Sanders is a "potential fit" for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Brady is now a minority owner of the team, and whispers of a blockbuster move are gaining momentum, which don’t just involve Coach Prime but his quarterback son Shedeur. Brady’s influence will be heavy in shaping the Raiders’ future given his GOAT status. Fowler said:
“The belief among many in the league is that Tom Brady, now a minority owner of the Raiders, will have some level of influence over major decisions, and team owner Mark Davis will covet his knowledge and insight.”
The Raiders could be securing a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL draft, which could see Shedeur join his father once again, this time in Las Vegas. However, Coach Prime seems rooted in Boulder.
"I'm happy where I am," Sanders said in November. "I love it here, truly do."
While the NFL intrigue is real, it remains to be seen whether Sanders will leave his collegiate kingdom for the glitz of Sin City.
