Deiondra Sanders' BF Jacquees posts comical reaction to pics from gender reveal party: "Can you tell I was happy?"
A few weeks ago, Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders' daughter, Deiondra Sanders, announced that she was pregnant and that the father of the baby was popular R&B singer Jacquees. The pair have since posted several pictures and videos of the pregnancy on social media, and on Saturday, they had a gender reveal party attended by her brother, Deion Sanders Jr.
An enthusiastic Jacquees posted Instagram pictures from the gender reveal where he pressed a TNT-branded detonator that blew out blue smoke to signal that the baby was a boy with a happy Deiondra Sanders at his side. One of the images was zoomed in on Jacquees' face and showed his joy at the reveal.
He captioned the post:
"Can you tell I was happy? 😂 LOL 😎💙Cc: @fyb.taj & @jeffgetcash."
Deiondra Sanders has support from Deion Sanders during pregnancy
Deiondra Sanders is Deion Sanders' firstborn child and daughter with his first wife, Carolyne Chambers, with whom he also shares Deion Sanders Jr. Deiondra offered the Buffs team, her father and her stepbrothers, Shilo and Shedeur Sanders, passionate support last season as they took Boulder by storm.
The fashion-forward Deiondra would regularly attend the games in Boulder and even organize watch parties in different cities whenever she was not around Colorado.
During an interview with People, Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders revealed what he thought of his passionate firstborn daughter's pregnancy news.
"I haven't digested that whole thing yet," Sanders said. "I'm proud of my baby that she's at least waited until her thirties to give me this gift of life," he says. "I'm happy about that, but I want to make sure she's straight emotionally and psychologically as well."
In her announcement post on Instagram, Deiondra Sanders detailed the difficulties she has faced while trying to get pregnant. She had four myomectomies, which are surgical procedures intended to remove fibroids and cause challenges in conception.
She further revealed that she was told by doctors that she would never make it past the first trimester of any pregnancy and that she bled for the first few weeks before being deemed a "high-risk mother."
Coach Deion Sanders was on hand to encourage his daughter in the highly emotional Instagram post.
"PREACH BABY PREACH, and u having this baby to make me a darn GRANDDADDY even though I'm YOUNG!" Deion Sanders wrote. "I Love u baby and I'm glad u said u ain't having a baby to keep a man. You've always had a MAN in your life that u call DADDY & ain't gon ever ever let u DOWN especially when I'm UP."
Deiondra Sanders has also received plenty of support from her mother, Carolyne Chambers, who flew in to be with her daughter immediately after she made her announcement.
