EA Sports College Football 25 is one of the most highly-anticipated video games that is set to hit the market this summer. It will mark the franchise's first entry in 11 years. NCAA Football 14, which was released in 2013, was the last college football game released.

Fans had been unclear about the full timeline of EA Sports College Football 25's pre-order accessibility leading up to its July 19 release. EA Sports has provided an update, which was shared by X account @IsItOutEa. The release read:

"For retail preorders, see retailer for early access distribution details and pick-up time. For digital pre-orders, product will be available to download once early access period begins on July 15, 2024 4:00 pm Eastern Time. Early access will not be available if you redeem after July 18, 2024. All other pre-order content will not be available if you redeem after July 19, 2024."

While fans originally thought that pre-order accessibility would not be available until July 16, it appears that it will actually open up eight hours early. Those who have pre-ordered EA Sports College Football 25 will also get a variety of in-game bonuses such as points and ultimate team packs.


Who are the top 10 players in EA Sports College Football 25?

EA Sports College Football 25 released their list of the top 100 players in the video game on Wednesday. There will not be any 99 overall-rated players when the game launches. The highest rating handed out is a 96, held by Michigan Wolverines cornerback Will Johnson, LSU Tigers left tackle Will Campbell and Oklahoma State Cowboys running back Ollie Gordon II.

The top 10 was rounded out by seven players who received a 95 rating. This includes Tennessee Volunteers right end James Pearce Jr., Ohio State Buckeyes free safety Caleb Downs, Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter, Georgia Bulldogs free safety Malaki Starks, Michigan Wolverines defensive tackle Mason Graham, Ohio State Buckeyes running back Quinshon Judkins, and Georgia Bulldogs right guard Tate Ratledge.

Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck are the highest-rated players at the game's most important position, both earning a 93 overall rating.
