"Everybody was just like 'what?'": Malachi Moore shares Alabama players' reactions to Kalen DeBoer's new practice regimen

There has been a bit of a culture shift with the Alabama Crimson Tide as they changed coaches from Nick Saban to Kalen DeBoer.

It will be a culture shock to some players and we got the first insight into the switch for the Crimson Tide program.

Defensive back Malachi Moore was one of the players representing the Alabama Crimson Tide during the 2024 SEC Media Days. He discussed a bit of the practice regimen that DeBoer has instilled.

"One of the first that (DeBoer) mentioned to us was music at practice. Everybody was just like, 'What!' but it's been fun. The music at practice has been fun. The early morning schedule, I like it. It gives me more time to get my treatment in and do any extra work that I need to do."

There have been a lot of changes for the Alabama Crimson Tide with the different regimes. It will be interesting to see how the team does in this upcoming college football season.

Will the Alabama Crimson Tide make the College Football Playoff in the 2024 season?

The Alabama Crimson Tide has been one of the most exciting teams entering the 2024 college football season. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, they are even money to make the College Football Playoff.

It will be difficult to imagine them winning the SEC Championship, especially in the expanded conference, but they are going to be one of the at-large bids.

The program did not lose too many significant players during the transition period from Nick Saban and Kalen DeBoer. Their schedule has the team expected to be one of the top programs in college football and should win 9-10 games with their roster.
