"F**k that": Warren Sapp lashes out at Colorado player as fight breaks out during Buffaloes practice session

No. 20 Colorado is adding the final touches in its preparation for the Alamo Bowl against No. 17 BYU on Dec. 28. On that note, the program recently held its last practice of the year on campus with parts of the event being recorded by Deion Sanders Jr. for his YouTube channel, "Well Off Media."

One of the videos posted on the channel showed a fight that broke out mid-practice. Former NFL player-turned-coach Warren Sapp, a senior quality control analyst for the Buffaloes, lashed out at a player while the fight was going on:

Colorado is currently a five-point underdog for its Alamo Bowl clash against BYU. The game will be played at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, and it's set to broadcast on ABC. ESPN's game predictor has more trust in the Buffaloes than the oddsmakers, giving them a 58.5% chance of winning the game. Colorado is looking for its first bowl win since 2004.

Deion Sanders's final message to the Colorado Buffaloes ahead of the Alamo Bowl

Deion Sanders also had a simple message for the Buffaloes as they depart Boulder for their postseason encounter.

"We got to finish. We got to finish strong, we got to finish right," Sanders said (4:10). "I'm talking about making it, I'm talking about making them proud. Some of y'all, if it don't mean nothing to you, it's not wise for you to get on the plane. Because if I sense it, if I sniff it out, you ain't going. Thank God we have everybody."

"Now, let's continue with a commitment to excellence," Sanders said.

The upcoming game also holds value for quarterback Shedeur Sanders and WR/CB Travis Hunter. Leading up to the 2025 NFL draft, a strong showing in the Alamo Bowl could boost their respective draft stock significantly.
