"First game you came to we lost": Deion Sanders Jr. hilariously blames popular hip-hop artist for Colorado's defeat against Kansas
Deion Sanders Jr. found a hilarious way to deflect Colorado's 37-21 defeat against Kansas on Saturday in Week 13. Before the game, he met with music artist Khaotic, and afterward, he jokingly blamed the rapper for the defeat. On Monday, when Khaotic posted a video of their meeting on Instagram, Deion Jr. left a cheeky comment:
"The first game you came to we lost…"
Colorado's defeat to Kansas made it harder for the Buffs to make the playoffs, as their hopes now depend on the right draw of luck. If two of the three teams (Arizona State, BYU, Iowa State) Colorado is tied with at 6-2 in the conference lose, the Buffs will have a chance to make it to the Big 12 Championship.
The No. 23 Buffs (8-3, 6-2 Big 12) have shown considerable improvement from last season. In 2023, Colorado finished with a 4-8 record, failing to secure a bowl game. There were doubts about whether Coach Prime could overturn the team's fortunes.
This season, the Buffs will play in a bowl game. They also have two Heisman Trophy contenders in quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way phenom Travis Hunter.
Colorado will host Oklahoma State in its final game of the regular season on Friday.
Deion Sanders Jr. has been providing extensive coverage for Colorado Buffaloes this season
Coach Prime's eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., has been providing in-depth coverage of the Colorado Buffaloes on social media platforms. He has also been promoting the program on his "Well Off Media" YouTube channel. Along with extensive coverage, Deion Jr. tends to provide exclusive footage and behind-the-scenes action for the players and the team.
Sanders Jr. also has a close bond with the Colorado program since he has family members who are associated with the team. His father, Deion Sanders Sr., is the team's coach, while his half-brothers Shilo (safety) and Shedeur (quarterback) are players on the team.
