The UConn Huskies (6-3) were able to maintain their lead over the Georgia State Panthers (2-6) and escape Week 10 with a 34-27 home victory. This game was a back-and-forth affair but the Huskies were able to have the running game control things and left with the victory.

Georgia State vs. Connecticut Game Summary

This game was a very entertaining back-and-forth matchup between two teams that are not very similar at all.

The Panthers were able to move the chains well, as they were 8-of-17 on third downs and 3-of-3 on fourth down attempts. However, the team did throw for a pair of interceptions to kill drives. Georgia State was also a bit undisciplined, as they committed nine penalties for 95 yards.

The Huskies were able to run the ball extremely well as quarterback Nick Evers did not throw much in the game.
