"Glad you are finally moving here" - $14 million worth Lane Kiffin expresses gratitude as ex-wife Layla gears up to move

Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin had a disappointing end to the season with the Rebels after missing out on the Southeastern Conference championship game and a spot in the College Football Playoff. The Rebels finished the season with a 9-3 record and have the chance to complete three consecutive 10-win seasons with a bowl win against the Duke Blue Devils in the Gator Bowl in January.

Off the gridiron, the Ole Miss coach spent time with his family to celebrate his daughter Landry Kiffin's birthday on Thursday. On Friday, the $14 million-worth Rebels coach (as per CelebrityNetWorth) commented on an Instagram post by his ex-wife Layla in which she was wishing their daughter, Landry, a happy birthday.

In the comments, Lane Kiffin wrote:

"Amazing words and perspective Layla. Glad you're finally moving here with us!!! #ComeToTheSip #KnoxOHS," Kiffin wrote.

With Landry attending Ole Miss, it seems Layla is also moving to Oxford, per Lane Kiffin's comment.

Layla and Lane Kiffin continue to co-parent their kids

Lane Kiffin and Layla Reaves divorced in 2016 after 12 years of marriage and have co-parented their three children, Knox, Presley and Landry Kiffin, over the years. When they divorced in 2016, Kiffin was the offensive coordinator for the Alabama Crimson Tide under former coach Nick Saban.

"After a lot of careful thought and consideration, Layla and I have mutually decided to divorce," Kiffin wrote in a statement announcing his divorce. "We are fully committed to our kids' future being our No. 1 priority.
"We will maintain an amicable relationship with respect for each other as we raise these three wonderful children. We will have no further comments and appreciate respect for our family's privacy."

Presley is a volleyball star and will join the USC Trojans next year after graduating from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. She will join the institution where her father was the coach between 2001 and 2007.

Knox Kiffin is a quarterback prospect in the Class of 2028, while Landry Kiffin joined Ole Miss this year. ESPN analyst Chris Low wrote in an August feature how Landry was instrumental in keeping her dad in Oxford when he had interest from the Auburn Tigers.

"Kiffin's oldest daughter, Landry, is a sophomore at Ole Miss," Low wrote. "She moved to Oxford from Los Angeles prior to her senior year of high school to be with her father. In fact, had it not been for Landry, her dad might be coaching at Auburn right now.
"Kiffin was leaning toward taking the Auburn job toward the end of the 2022 season when Landry came to him with a heartfelt message."

With their daughters entering college sports and Knox Kiffin almost joining the ranks of student-athletes, Layla Reaves and Lane Kiffin seem more civil with each other post-divorce.
