“He was doing it at my age”: Alabama’s 17 YO star Ryan Williams wishes to do a podcast with $800M worth NBA star

Ryan Williams is one of the latest prodigies in the Alabama football program. The 17-year-old has been tearing up offenses for Kalen DeBoer this season, recording 649 yards on 32 receptions and seven touchdowns in the 2024 college football season.

The teenage sensation was featured on a reel uploaded by SEC Network on ESPN, where he was asked about which guest he would prefer to have on his podcast. Wiliiams' answer differed from what many may have presumed to come from the football fraternity.

"Let me see who would be my dream guest," Williams wondered hard before finally saying: "We gotta get LeBron on that thing. Oh my God! He was doing at my age, and he's still doing it..."

King James, who boasts a net worth of $800 million (as per Celebrity Net Worth), is a role model for the younger generation. Despite the difference of sports, the wide receiver understands the greatness of James.

Williams will be on the field against the No. 21 Missouri Tigers as Kalen DeBoer's Alabama looks forward to getting their SEC title hopes back on track.

Ryan Williams has turned head with fashion choices

Painted nails have been the talk of the college football landscape since 2022 Heisman winner Caleb Williams started having them as a fashion choice. Carrying the trend forward, the Alabama freshman WR is also garnering attention for his unique style.

Like the former USC quarterback, Ryan also sports painted nails. He recently showed up with an orange manicure during Alabama’s Week 8 matchup against the Tennessee Volunteers.

The Alabama athlete revealed that his little sister is the artist behind his nails, as he shared:

“My little sister, she just loves doing nails, and I support her fully.”

Even some of his teammates have embraced the trend, inspired by Williams' confidence.

"I remember my teammates being like, 'Why are you painting your nails?' I'm like, 'It's for my little sister. You got something against it?' And next thing you know, they were getting their nails done."

The teen wonder-kid has several years of college football ahead of him, and if he continues to impress, he can transition to the NFL in no time. Till then, enjoy Williams's sense of style as he helps Alabama to rescue their 2024 season before it goes from bad to worse.
