"He blew the back out of his diaper": Deion Sanders shares hilarious 'GRAND thang' moment as baby Snow takes standing dump
Deion Sanders is on to embracing his granddad duties in true Coach Prime style. The Colorado Buffaloes coach had a hard time adjusting to being a granddad, but after welcoming his first grandchild, baby Snow Que, his love has never found a day off.
Sanders recently discovered that not every grandparent moment is all smiles and cuddles. In a laugh-out-loud Instagram post, Deion shared the reality of a snapshot that included a diaper mishap mid-hug.
"He was taking a standing dump!" Sanders wrote. "He blew the back out of his diaper. I thought this song was appropriate. I’m actually loving this GRAND thang."
Along with the post, Sanders hinted at his chosen "Grand name," promising to send PRIME gear to the first fan who could guess it. Tagging his family and keeping up with his usual humor, Sanders showed how much he enjoys being a granddad.
However, that doesn’t mean his coaching duties at the Colorado Buffaloes (6-2, 4-1, Big 12) are taking a backseat. With Deion Sanders at the helm, the Buffs are inching closer to a Las Vegas Bowl spot after their Week 9 win against the Cincinnati Bearcats. It is as emotional for him as it is for the fans.
Deion Sanders' emotional moment after Colorado's Week 9 win
Deion Sanders' emotional connection with Colorado superfan Peggy Coppom has become one of the season's standout stories. Known affectionately as "Miss Peggy," she’s been a die-hard Colorado Buffaloes fan since 1945. Coppom has attended over 3,000 games and witnessed the highs and lows of her team under 16 different head coaches.
Yet, her bond with Sanders stands out, led by his promise to bring the Buffs back to bowl eligibility – an accomplishment that they hadn’t achieved in eight years.
Following Colorado’s victory over the Cincinnati Bearcats, Sanders fulfilled that promise. He called Miss Peggy to share the news, resulting in an emotional exchange where she expressed gratitude for his transformative impact on the team.
“I’m so happy. Thank you so much for the turnaround you have done for us,” Miss Peggy told him through tears of joy that the season’s success has brought to longtime fans.
However, Sanders emphasized that merely reaching any bowl game wouldn’t be enough. According to him, Miss Peggy deserves a high-profile bowl experience because of her loyalty and “sophisticated taste.”
Colorado's turnaround under Coach Prime, led by outstanding performances from players like his son Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter, has put the Buffs in the national spotlight. This successful season culminates decades of support from Miss Peggy, and her bond with Deion Sanders adds to it.
