How much did EA CFB 25 pay Arch Manning for the commercial? A look at $2.8M NIL-valued Texas QB’s deal with highly anticipated game

After much speculation, Arch Manning announced that he will be part of EA Sports College Football 25 on Tuesday. The Texas Longhorns quarterback announced his inclusion in the game via a video on social media, with his two-time Super Bowl-winning uncle Eli Manning.

Arch, who already has NIL deals worth $2.8 million as per On3, was paid between $50-60K by EA Sports to promote the highly-anticipated College Football 25. The game will be released on July 19, and EA managed to lure the Longhorns signal-caller and NFL legend Eli Manning in its latest commercial to boost its market reach.

Furthermore, Arch will receive a minimum of $600 as well as a free copy of the College Football 25 game for allowing the developer to use his NIL.

As per reports, Arch had initially opted out from having likeness in College Football 25 as he planned to focus on developing his skills as a player at Texas. However, a few months later, the Longhorns quarterback changed his mind and gave EA the green light for his inclusion in the video game.

Notably, Arch's incorporation into College Football 25 is a big move, since he comes from football royalty. His uncles Eli and Peyton Manning have won two Super Bowls each, while his grandfather Archie played 14 seasons in the NFL.

Arch Manning has pledged his loyalty to Texas amid rumors of him leaving the program due to lack of game time with the Longhorns.

"It's tough because you want to be out there playing with your boys," Manning said during media availability at this year's Manning Passing Academy. "But it came down to just realizing there's nowhere else I want to be, and it was my dream to play at Texas. I'm going to stick it out and play there eventually."

Manning made two cameo appearances for Texas as a junior in 2023. He completed two of five passes for 30 yards but is yet to get a touchdown for the Longhorns.

While Manning will serve as the backup to Quinn Ewers at Texas in 2024, there is a chance that he could see more action if he impresses coach Steve Sarkisian.
