"I beat them all up": Coach Prime drops eye-catching remark as Colorado gears up to face Texas Tech
Colorado coach Deion Sanders had an interesting pre-game boost before facing Texas Tech. Coach Prime uploaded a selfie on his Instagram account, with an empty conference hall in the background.
In the caption, Sanders appeared to suggest that he pumped up his players in a meeting and that he, himself, was also ready for the clash against the Red Raiders.
"I beat them all up and I’m ready to go! @cubuffsfootball #CoachPrime," Sanders wrote in the caption.
The Buffs were able to prepare well for their game against Texas Tech since they had an off in Week 10. Furthermore, No. 21 Colorado (6-2, 4-1 Big 12) knows that it has an outside chance of making the 12-team College Football Playoff.
Coach Prime's Colorado will aim to continue strong run after open week
Coach Prime's Colorado has been among one of the most impressive teams thus far. The Buffaloes confirmed their bowl eligibility in Week 9 after beating Cincinnati 34-23.
Following their open week, the Buffs head into Week 11 on a two-game win streak. Colorado also has a winnable run of games in the coming weeks, but will need to first focus on the task at hand against Texas Tech.
The Buffaloes will be relying on star quarterback Shedeur Sanders to deliver the goods against the Red Raiders on Saturday. Even two-way star Travis Hunter could play an important role for Colorado in offense and defense.
Coach Prime, nonetheless, feels confident heading into Saturday's matchup.
