"I don’t see nobody better"- Travis Hunter's fiancée Leanna Lenee heaps praise on him in latest IG post
Colorado's star cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter got a boost of confidence from his fiancée Leanna Lenee in her latest Instagram comment. As the Buffaloes (4-2, 2-1 Big 12) gear up for their game against Arizona (3-3, 1-2) this Saturday at 2 pm MDT (Fox), fans are eagerly awaiting a showdown between two of the nation's top talents.
Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, one of the best receivers in college football, will likely go head-to-head with Colorado's Hunter, who's known as one of the top cornerbacks—and a standout receiver too. Hunter is likely to play this coming week, as per the update by Deion Sanders.
On Thursday, Hunter posted a striking photo in his Colorado black-and-gold gear, helmet on, exuding a fierce, game-ready look. His simple caption featured a planet emoji, but the comment section said it all. Lenee hyped him up:
"Idk, I don’t see nobody better."
Also, the "The Travis Hunter Show" chimed in with:
"He got the whole world in his hands."
Kansas City Chiefs receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, a former USC Trojans, added his approval with just one word:
“TWELVE”
Meanwhile, Arizona head coach Brent Brennan shared his thoughts on the matchup, with local media on Thursday:
“Two outstanding players going to head-to-head, who wouldn’t be excited about that?” Brennan said [H/t The Denver Post]. “In the flow of the game, I’m really not thinking that way. I’m thinking a little more big picture of what’s happening.”
“But, for everybody that’s coming to the game, that’s exciting.”
McMillan is currently third in the nation in receiving yards per game, with 123.7. He’s caught 42 passes for 742 yards and four touchdowns so far this season, and he’s widely projected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Meanwhile, Hunter, with 18 tackles, two interceptions, and three pass breakups this season, is on track to be a top-five pick in the NFL Draft.
