“I done stole the whip”: Days after robbing from Deion Sanders’ shoe closet, Travis Hunter eyes HC’s unique ride

Even though Colorado has an off in Week 10, Travis Hunter is in the spotlight. The two-way star was caught stealing Deion Sanders' shoes earlier this week, but it looks like he has eyes on a bigger prize next.

On Friday, Hunter posted a hilarious video on his Instagram story of himself in one of Sanders' smaller cars.

"I done stole the whip," Hunter wrote on the IG video, tagging Coach Prime and Deion Sanders Jr.

A day after Colorado's win over Cincinnati in Week 9 on Saturday, Sanders posted a video on his Instagram where Hunter was in his office. He casually stole a pair of shoes gifted to him by NBA legend LeBron James.

Sanders and Hunter also engaged in a lighthearted conversation, with Coach Prime calling the player a "thief" and saying he went "very roguish" after being caught red-handed.

A few days later, Hunter bragged about his latest theft from Sanders in a video. The two-way player said he snagged a pair of shoes gifted to the Colorado coach by NBA superstar Ja Morant.

While Travis Hunter is grabbing headlines for stealing Coach Prime's valuables, he is proving himself as an MVP for the No. 23 Colorado on the gridiron. The two-way star is in contention to win the Heisman Trophy this year amid a stellar run with the Buffaloes.

The wide receiver has posted 757 yards on 60 receptions and caught eight touchdowns. As a defensive back, he has tallied 20 total tackles, 13 solo, eight passes defended, two interceptions, and one forced fumble across eight games.

Hunter has helped Colorado to fourth in the Big 12. The Buffaloes currently boast a 6–2 overall record (4–1 in Big 12) and will resume action in Week 11 against Texas Tech on Nov. 9 after their open week.
