"I got love for Jacquees": Deion Sanders gives nod of approval to future son-in-law over video call with Deiondra Sanders
Deion Sanders, the charismatic Colorado Buffaloes coach, showed his softer side during a video call with his daughter, Deiondra Sanders. Deiondra, who is engaged to R&B singer Jacquees and expecting a baby boy in August, was thrilled as she shared the heartwarming moment with her dad. Jacquees surprised everyone by proposing to Deiondra at their baby shower on July 9.
In the call, Deion and Deiondra discussed their joint venture of surprising Jacquees with a makeover of his beloved Jeep, something the artist had longed for. During the video call, "Coach Prime" insisted that both he and Deiondra should get credit for the overhaul.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer even included a glimpse of Shedeur Sanders sitting beside him, adding to the family affair. Deion Sanders posted the entire conversation on Instagram on Sunday, proudly giving his nod of approval to Jacquees with the caption:
"I’m just saying @deiondrasanders …. I got love for @jacquees and I wanted to make sho- MY baby BLESSED her man. #CoachPrime"
Deiondra playfully responded in the comments:
"😂😂😂😂😂 Nah playa! I told you that was all me!! lol your offering went else where I promise😂😩"
Deiondra and Jacquees went public with their relationship last Christmas, but it wasn’t until a month later that Coach Prime met Jacquees during a trip to Atlanta.

Deion Sanders receives gift worth $78,000 from Shedeur Sanders
Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders made it to the headlines for his extravagant gift to his dad.
As documented on the "Well Off Media" YouTube channel, the 22-year-old presented Coach Prime with a $78,000 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph watch. The watch, a 41mm Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph in an 18-carat yellow gold case, perfectly complements Deion’s style.
The gift is an early birthday present for Coach Prime. Known for his love of watches, Deion initially hesitated to accept the lavish gift. It took some convincing from his other sons, Shilo and Deion Jr., for Coach Prime to finally embrace the gesture.
“I’m proud of you, though,” Deion said. “Because you manage your money right and you’re able to do that.”
