"If #2 knows what you are in, he eats you up": Baylor coach shares his admiration for Shedeur Sanders & Coach Prime before Week 4 face-off

Colorado Buffaloes and quarterback Shedeur Sanders registered a bounceback victory against the Colorado State Rams on Saturday in Fort Collins. This came after the team suffered a lop-sided loss against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Week 2.

Looking forward, the Buffaloes will host the Baylor Bears at Folson Field this Saturday. Ahead of the clash, Baylor coach Dave Aranda talked about his opponent, especially about their quarterback.

"Yeah, I have a lot of respect for what they do offensively," Aranda said. "The quarterback makes some really tough throws. If he knows what you're in, he eats you up. And I think their skill is such that you can only double-cover so many people.
"You can see the talking and communication up front, where they're able to hold off the pressure. The quarterback is stepping in, taking hits as he's getting the ball out — it's a whole NFL-level operation. I have a lot of respect for them, and it's going to take our best."

Aranda also gave props to Deion Sanders for how he has uplifted the Colorado program in Boulder.

"I have a lot of respect for him," Aranda said. "I think the energy and notoriety and the juice that he's brought to that program, I think he's doing a great job. I have a lot of respect for him."

Baylor likely to go with Sawyer Robertson over Toledo transfer Dequan Finn as starting QB

Dequan Finn didn't play last week's game against the Air Force due to injury. He is considered day-to-day ahead of the Week 4 clash.

Meanwhile, in Finn's absence, Sawyer Robertson was given the nod to start as the quarterback. His performance helped the Bears to a convincing 31-3 win. He threw for 248 yards on 18-of-24 pass attempts. He also scored a rushing touchdown.

The decision on the same will taken be later this week, but in all likelihood even if Finn is fit to play, expect Robertson to get the nod over him.

According to betting odds, Colorado is a 1.5-point home favorite for this matchup. The game is expected to be thrilling and will rest heavily on whether Colorado's offensive line holds up against Baylor's secondary.
