The Michigan Spring game was attended by former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, who added to the excitement surrounding the event held in Ann Arbor.
The Spring game, which featured the Maize team facing off against the Blue team, saw the Maize emerge victorious with a score of 17-7. It was a defensive battle that kicked off the Michigan Spring Game.
However, the matchup between Maize and Blue picked up momentum in the fourth quarter with explosive offensive plays. Quarterback Davis Warren flaunted his arm strength with two long passing touchdowns, connecting with wide receivers Kendrick Bell and Fredrick Moore for 42 and 48 yards, respectively.
Blue scored the game's first touchdown on a drive led by quarterback Alex Orji and an 18-yard rushing touchdown by running back Donovan Edwards.
In addition to the thrilling on-field action, former Wolverines quarterback J.J. McCarthy also made an appearance at the game, showing off his Michigan rings on the sidelines.
The former Michigan presence at the Michigan Spring Game was a rare sight for Wolverines fans, who will see their team transition following his impending departure to the NFL along with former head coach Jim Harbaugh, who joined the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Michigan Spring game gave a taste of what’s to come in the 2024 college football season for the Wolverines faithful.
Senior quarterback Davis Warren's 42-yard touchdown pass to sophomore wide receiver Kendrick Bell stood out as the best throw of the game. Meanwhile, Alex Orji's 18-yard scramble for a touchdown showed how the junior signal-caller is improving his decision-making under pressure.
Freshman quarterback Jadyn Davis impressed with his composure and accuracy, treating us with glimpses of his potential in the midst of the action. On defense, sophomore Breeon Ishmail's disruptive plays stood out.
While key players like senior running back Donovan Edwards and junior cornerback Will Johnson were sparingly used to minimize injury risks, other contributors seized the opportunity to shine.
