Davis Warren will not start on Saturday in one of the biggest games for the No. 18-ranked Michigan Wolverines in the 2024 season. Coach Sherrone Moore's men will face an in-form No. 11 USC Trojans led by coach Lincoln Riley and quarterback Miller Moss.
As Warren prepares for the USC clash, his girlfriend Julia Heilman is up to trying a new hairstyle. On Friday, she posted a mirror selfie story on Instagram with her friend Niki Moore, rocking funky and colorful hair. Heilman went for sky-blue hair while Moore had a red hairdo.
Both of them wore an all-black outfit. In another story, Julia Heilman posed for a selfie with her girl gang, who had their hair styled in pink and blue. Warren's girlfriend captioned the post:
"❤️🩵"
While Heilman had her fun, Warren will be introspecting about improving his game after an abysmal performance against the Texas Longhorns in Week 2 and Arkansas State in Week 3. However, Julia Heilman supported her boyfriend, sharing snaps from her Ann Arbor weekend when the Wolverines lost 31-12 to coach Steve Sarkisian's men.
Michigan coach Sherrone Moore announced on Monday that Warren will sit out the Trojans game, and Alex Orji will take the starting quarterback spot.

What went wrong for Davis Warren?
It’s not an inspiring scene for fans to see their starting quarterback benched after a couple of games into the season, but that’s what happened with Davis Warren. He has been benched in favor of Alex Orji for the Wolverines’ upcoming Big Ten clash against the USC Trojans.
Sherrone Moore made the announcement earlier this week following Warren's struggles. Having started three games this season, the 22-year-old has thrown for only two touchdowns while racking up six interceptions.
He hit rock bottom last weekend against the Arkansas State Red Wolves, where Warren’s three turnovers nearly cost Michigan the game. However, Orji stepped in late for a rescue act, tossing a touchdown to Hogan Hansen in a 28-18 win. Moore praised Orji’s readiness but hasn’t swept Warren under the rug altogether.
“At the end of the day, we’ve got to pick the guys that are going to help us win," Moore said. "There’s not much I need to tell him [Warren] to hype him up or support him. We’ll continue to support him, he’s one of the players in our team, regardless of things that happen.”
Warren may be down for now, but Michigan is keeping faith in its struggling quarterback.
