With Sherrone Moore stepping into his first season as head coach, the fans are eager to see how the team will perform. Coming off of a flawless 15-0 season culminating in a national championship, the Wolverines have big expectations for the 2024 season.

But with key players JJ McCarthy and Blake Corum now in the NFL, and Jim Harbaugh now head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, the road to another title won't be easy.

Still, moments like these show that the Wolverines are keeping things light, building camaraderie, and gearing up for what promises to be an exciting season.

Can the Michigan Wolverines repeat last year's heroics?

Sherrone Moore’s team is entering the 2024 season as defending national champions, but the road ahead could be rocky. It’s difficult to replicate an undefeated season after the best players and coach have left.

Harbaugh’s departure for the Chargers left a void in leadership on the coaching staff, which Moore has filled. With a new roster, Moore faces the challenge of living up to very high expectations. The Wolverines still boast an elite defense, and the return of running back Donovan Edwards is a plus.

However, the team’s success depends heavily on finding a reliable starting quarterback. Alex Orji is expected to take the reins, but questions remain about whether he can lead Michigan to another title run.

With a tough schedule ahead, including matchups against Texas and Ohio State, the Wolverines are predicted to finish 8-4, which is a far cry from last year’s dominant performance.

While the hype might be subdued this season, the Wolverines must play with determination on the field to continue to win in the Big Ten, even with the challenges of new key players and a new head coach.
