IN PHOTOS: Oregon TE Terrance Ferguson's fiancee Sophia Meyer shares romantic sneak peek from engagement party
The college football season has not started yet but Oregon Duck TE, Terrance Ferguson, decided to propose to his longtime girlfriend and high school sweetheart. The couple shared dreamy pictures of each other on social media from the beautiful mountains of Telluride, Colorado.
Ferguson and Sophia Meyer posed among the tall grass, beautiful flowers, and fur babies, Obi and Orso. One snap gave a clear look at the ring: a radiant-cut diamond engagement ring with a pave side stone band.
After the big proposal, Meyer was surprised by an engagement party that her friends and family members threw for her. She shared a series of pictures from the engagement party and also a shoutout from the jeweler who created her engagement ring.
One of the captions for the pictures was:

Terrance Ferguson picked out the ring for her fiance from Happy Jewelrs, an Orange County-based jewelry, popularly known for creating pieces for several athletes and celebrities.

Ferguson and Meyer have known each other since they were in high school. While the Oregon TE attended Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado, Meyer went to a different school; in a nearby town.
As per her Instagram posts, Sophia played high school basketball.
Terrance Ferguson will be a talented tool for the Oregon Ducks as he had six touchdowns and 414 yards for 42 receptions. He was expected to declare for the 2024 NFL draft but instead decided to play for his senior year.
"I had my biggest dream ahead of me of going to the NFL; I think that will always be there," Ferguson said (per OregonLive). There’s still stuff left on the table here before I need to move up to the next level."
“I wanted to win something here that meant something,” he explained. “I wanted to be a part of something special, and with coach (Dan) Lanning and my (position) coach (Drew Mehringer), it’s special.
Ferguson will work with the new QB Dillion Gabriel in the upcoming season of college basketball and can hopefully declare for the draft in 2025.
