Ethan Garbers identifies fellow Bruins WR for UCLA success

The Bruins quarterback is poised for a breakout season in 2024 following a mixed 2023 season. Garbers is determined to build a strong connection with his wide receivers, especially with Titus Mokiao-Atimalala, who sat out the majority of the last season.

“Titus is my guy, for sure, and we’re definitely building a good connection going into the season,” Garbers said.

Hailing from California, the QB’s potential is out for everyone to see, and the return of Mokiao-Atimalala could be the key to unlocking his full capabilities.

The 2023 season saw Garbers showing flashes of brilliance, but his connection with his receivers was inconsistent. New UCLA head coach DeShaun Foster has also backed Garbers.

“Ethan Garbers is my starting quarterback,” Foster said (per Sports Illustrated). “He finished the year last year, came in the bowl game, won MVP, and he’s just been trending ever since.”

With Mokiao-Atimalala back in the lineup, this dynamic duo could be the game-changer UCLA needs.
