IN PHOTOS: USC QB Miller Moss snaps with GF Sofia and the Trojans squad during offseason fun
Being a USC Trojan during the off-season looks fun. Just ask Miller Moss. Ahead of the media days for the different conferences, the favorite to take Caleb Williams's spot as the signal-caller for the USC Trojans, posted on Instagram a series of photos of him enjoying life in the Golden State.
The photos are varied and show him doing a series of diverse activities that go from enjoying a rooftop with his girlfriend Sofia Hildebrand, to going out to dinner with the rest of the Trojans.
It also seems that Moss enjoyed the beach quite a bit, with several pics of him at traditional California beaches, one of them while enjoying some friendly beach volleyball.
Moss hasn't forgotten his training, as several pictures from USC's training camps show. While he's the favorite to take the starting spot, it's by no means a guarantee that he will be the starter.
Lastly, Miller Moss seems to be a bit of a 007 fan, with the last picture of the post being that of Daniel Craig's iconic portrayal of James Bond in 2012's Skyfall.
Will Miller Moss be the starter for the USC Trojans in 2024?
If something emerged from the Trojans' spring training camps, it's that Miller Moss might be the answer to replacing Caleb Williams. In April, USC coach Lincoln Riley told ESPN in the aftermath of spring football:
"He's certainly ahead right now. There's no question about that. We're in a position right now where we don't have to name a starter. ... If we played today, it would certainly be Miller."
The Los Angeles native started for the Trojans in the Holiday Bowl, where he threw for 372 yards, with six touchdowns, in the 42-28 victory over the Louisville candidates.
However, Moss will be the first would be the first to tell you that success can be fleeting, having said in the spring:
"It's not that you have success once and then it's all easy after that. There's ebbs and flows of this thing, so there's going to be more adversity coming up this year, and I feel like we're well-equipped to handle that."
Despite throwing a pair of interceptions during the school's spring game, Miller Moss remains the favorite to take the starting spot this fall.
Jayden Maiava, a transfer from UNLV, is the other option for USC. Maiava comes fresh off a debut season where he threw for 3000 yards but isn't considered mature enough yet for the starting job.
