IN PHOTOS: When Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel and GF Zo Caswell spent fun-filled day on field

Dillon Gabriel has enjoyed life during the college football offseason with his girlfriend, Zo Caswell. The couple had a fun-filled day at the Oregon Ducks indoor training facility with their furry friend – Winston – right before Oregon's annual spring game in late April.

This was Gabriel's first spring game for Dan Lanning’s team since transferring from the Oklahoma Sooners. The Ducks QB posted a string of photos with his 101,000 Instagram followers.

In one of the heartwarming images, the QB and his girlfriend couple shared joyful moments, with Caswell laughing as Gabriel kissed their furry friend, and the duo playing fetch. The backdrop of the Oregon Ducks' indoor facility added a lively touch to their outing. Gabriel captioned the post:

“Gettin our boy Winston right for the Spring Game this Saturday. He’s still deciding between RB, WR and TE. Bout to give @jordanjames2_ @tezmania15 @terrancef3 a run for their money.
“Got some Routes on Air in and this dudes got elite quickness (kind of like Tez) and down the field speed. Lacks size of course but size doesn’t matter (in this case, because he’s a skill position). I think he’s ready for some reps.”

Dillon Gabriel showed caliber in Oregon's spring game

Oregon football fans had plenty to be excited about following the annual spring game on April 27. The star of the show was their new QB: Dillon Gabriel, who demonstrated his caliber despite a slow start.

Gabriel completed 14 of 21 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns while being sacked twice. He displayed his skills, threading passes into tight spots and leading the Green Team to a 28-17 victory.

Oregon coach Dan Lanning raved about his quarterbacks after their performances, including Gabriel, Dante Moore, Austin Novosad and Luke Moga.

"I think all of our quarterbacks had some really positive plays," Lanning said. "I feel really good about our quarterbacks though. I really liked the group that we have there. I think we have talent in that room."

As Oregon gears up for its Big Ten journey, the team's depth at quarterback and the enthusiasm surrounding their performance in the spring game are promising signs for the season ahead.
