IN PICS: Iowa TE Luke Lachey shares romantic snaps with girlfriend Emma Hall to celebrate their 6th anniversary
Luke Lachey and his girlfriend Emma Hall celebrated their sixth anniversary of dating. The Iowa Hawkeyes tight end shared a series of images featuring him and Emma embracing before games and from their trips together.
The caption of the image was:
"2,190 Days Later! 🫶🏼"
Emma Hall also shared an Instagram dump containing snaps from their beach outings. One of the images featured the tight end giving their dog a bath, along with other sweet selfies from their time together.
"6 whole years! :’)" Emma Hall wrote.
The two started dating each other in 2018. Luke and Emma went to prom together the following year. Emma's prom proposal was creative, as she included stickers of various colleges that had offered Luke football scholarships with the message:
"I know you have many offers but I hope you accept mine, prom?"
Luke Lachey talks about playing different sports to keep himself busy
Luke Lachey recently signed an NIL deal with Brightn, a health and wellness app aiming to improve mental well-being through healthy habits. In a June 2024 interview, the Iowa TE talked about how he tried to keep himself happy and active by focusing on playing different types of sports while growing up.
He said:
"I played three sports and I guess four sports growing up. I'd played, I started with basketball. I guess I played soccer too. I didn't even count that soccer and baseball or like the three I started with and then got to like forth grade, started playing football and then seventh grade I ran track and dropped baseball."
"So I was always doing something. Just always wanted to do something that kept me busy. Doing that and surrounding myself with the people that I played sports with was another big thing. Just having people that are like-minded and have this similar goals and wanting to be an athlete."
Luke Lachey and the Iowa Hawkeyes will face Michigan State on Saturday. The fifth-year senior leads the Hawkeyes with 19 catches and is second on the team with 156 receiving yards.
