IN PICS: Terrance Ferguson’s fiancée Sophia all-smiles during Oregon vs Ohio State Big Ten showdown
Autzen Stadium witnessed a Big Ten thriller on Saturday, and Sophia Meyer's fiancé, Terrance Ferguson, ended up on the winning side. The Red River Rivalry saw the No. 2 Oregon Ducks outduel the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes 32-31. In the game, Ferguson caught four receptions for 62 yards from his signal caller.
Ferguson's fiancée joined Ducks quarterback Dillon Gabriel's fiancee, Zo Caswell, in the stands to cheer for their partners. On Sunday, Sophia Meyer shared a series of photos on her Instagram from the game.
She arrived at Autzen Stadium wearing custom pants with her fiance's initials and jersey number "TF No. 3" on them. She clicked a photo with Gabriel and Zo, Teitum Tuioti's girlfriend, Remmington Hewitt, and others. Her family also attended the football game, including Jameson Meyer and Laney Meyer.
"Best win in Autzen history imo🤭🦆" she wrote in the caption.
Terrance Ferguson and Sophia Meyer met each other during high school. Ferguson attended Heritage High School in Colorado. Meanwhile, according to an old Instagram post on Meyer's account, she seems to have played basketball for the Regis Jesuit High School Girls division.
The couple went official on social media in June 2021 when Meyer posted a photo of the two with a heart in the caption.
Terrance Ferguson proposes longtime girlfriend Sophia Meyer
The relationship status of the Oregon Ducks tight end changed in July as Terrance Ferguson got on one knee to propose to Sophia Meyer in the backdrop of the lush green mountains of Telluride, Colorado.
The tight end announced the news on Instagram, citing 1 Corinthians 13:4–7 from the Bible.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres,” Ferguson wrote in the caption.
Meyer also shared glimpses from her "best day forever."
The ring gifted from Ferguson for engagement was from Happy Jewelers, an Orange County-based jeweler, according to Sports Illustrated.
